A staff memo confirms that WFSB is debuting a 7pm newscast:
Stephanie Simoni will be joining us as the solo anchor of our 7pm news when it debuts May 2nd! Stephanie will also report for our afternoon and evening newscasts and fill in on the desk as needed.
The newscast will replace “Inside Edition” which currently airs at 7pm.
Stephanie’s move means she will be that much closer professionally to her husband, Roger Susanin, a reporter for WFSB.
