The Journal Inquirer’s sports editor, Neill Ostrout, will take over as Managing Editor of the paper. He replaces Jim Konrad, who is stepping down to pursue opportunities in renewable energy.
Ostrout has spent 26 years at newspapers, 12 at the Connecticut Post and three at The New Britain Herald before going to the JI.
We can’t help liking this quote: Ostrout says he has been “reading the JI since I was a child, and technically began working for the paper when I was a 12-year-old delivering the paper in Enfield.”
