A long time fixture of the University of Connecticut and state government is dead.
Scott Brohinsky, who many Connecticut reporters dealt with in his years as director of university relations (which included communications), died unexpectedly last week at the age of 72. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Vermont in 2017.
