Nader
Consumer advocate Ralph Nader has enlisted the help of journalist Andy Thibault to launch a pilot edition of what they hope will become a weekly newspaper: The Winsted Citizen. The first edition is expected early next year.
The two are scheduled to make the announcement official next week(January 3) at a meeting of the Rotary Club of the Torrington and Winsted Areas at the Greenwoods Country Club. The pilot edition of the paper is meant to measure community support for a regular weekly publication.
Thibault
Thibault has been working on the project for over a month and is looking for reporters and photographers. The Citizen will serve the towns of Winsted, Hartland, Riverton, Colebrook, Norfolk and New Hartford.
