CNN News Central, the re-branded midday offering from the network, is scheduled to debut in April. A new set and new logo are scheduled to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The new format will feature three anchors covering 9a.m. – 12p.m. and three covering 1p.m. – 4p.m.(Personnel details in this article from NewscastStudio). The morning side will be anchored from New York. The afternoon side will be anchored from Washington, D.C.
The presentation is expected to be heavy on live reporting from the field and dynamic movement by the anchors around the CNN newsroom.
