Pending last minute developments, a jury will be sworn in to hear the defamation case brought by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News, in a Delaware courtroom on Tuesday.
As the New York Times reported this weekend, the trial over 2020 election lies promulgated by Fox, may offer the first opportunity for someone, or some entity, to be held accountable for instigating the violence that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Late Sunday night the start of the trial was delayed by one day, until tomorrow(Tuesday), leading to speculation that a settlement may be in the works.
