Yale University professor Luchina Fisher made a pitch that won her $150,000 and a broadcast deal with PBS for her upcoming documentary on Black-queer representation in music.
Fisher won the top prize in a competition produced by the PitchBlackForum. Her latest film will be called “Hiding in Plain Sight.”
