Brian Lockhart, political reporter for the Stamford Advocate, had one of the more interesting stories in the state’s Sunday papers: Did Linda McMahon lobby to join the state Board of Education as a stepping-stone to running for the U.S. Senate? Because the Advocate is a Hearst paper, the story also ran in sister publications the CT Post, Greenwich Time and the Danbury News-Times.
