For months now viewers and observers of local news have wondered where NBC Connecticut anchor Ted Koppy has been.
Thursday he emerged on social media to report that he has been dealing with a long-term, still un-diagnosed health problem, that he became aware of after a routine bike ride landed him in the hospital. The emergency room visit led to a series of tests that un-earthed a “serious underlying condition.”
Koppy thanked viewers and social media followers for their interest in his whereabouts and thanked NBC Connecticut for its understanding as he deals with his health.
