Sen. Ryan Fazio (R – Greenwich) is one of a handful of Republican Senators who voted in favor of a broad housing bill. He joins Mike to discuss why he voted yes despite some reservations, and the changes he hopes to see to the state’s affordable housing law moving forward.

Majority Leader Rep. Jason Rojas (D- East Hartford) joins Mike in studio to discuss the infamous car tax, and why repealing it is easier said than done. Lawmakers expect to head into special session to finalize legislation that would change the way vehicles are assessed, among other things.

Mike Savino explains why Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D – Connecticut) and local advocates are pushing for additional protections for veterans who file claims under the PACT Act. Blumenthal says some companies are now trying to capitalize on the legislation under the guise of helping veterans apply.
