Another Travelers Championship, the media event of the year in Connecticut, has wrapped up amid a severe heat wave, thunderstorms, tornado threats and an unusual storming of the 18th green climate protest on the final day.
This year’s winner; Scottie Scheffler, who won a one hole playoff with Tom Kim.
During the course of the week, the two time Masters champion celebrated a birthday and shared a cake prepared for him with young fans. One of those fans happened to be Will, the son of WFSB Vice President and General Manager Dana Neves. The PGA produced a video of the moment that reportedly went viral.
