Starting tonight, NBC Connecticut airs debates among the candidates for governor: Thursday evening it’s the Republicans (all 8 of them), Friday night the Democrats (6). Anchor Gerry Brooks will moderate and Chief Political Reporter Tom Monahan will ask the questions – joined tonight by Chris Powell of the Journal Inquirer and Friday night by Mark Pazniokas of the CT Mirror. Here’s more on the format. There’s little time for any “debating”, but kudos to NBC Connecticut for turning over the time to public affairs.
