NCAA basketball games, aired on CBS, run into the early morning hours. We here at The Laurel are getting our much-needed beauty sleep at that time, but it’s been pointed out to us that WFSB taped its late news that ran after Thursday night’s game. Most CT stations have been willing to stay late to do the news “live” (after the Olympics,the Oscars or even NFL games) or at least indicate clearly that the program was “recorded earlier”. Otherwise, “live shots” are misleading as the aren’t “live” at the hour they’re being seen, but rather happened hours earlier…
