The broadcast has been promoted like crazy, with Logan Byrnes and Rebecca Stewart as the morning anchors. But we’re told a memo has gone out announcing that Joy Lim Nakrin and Sarah French will be sharing female co-host duties. Where does that leave Rebecca Stewart? Rebecca (married to WTNH reporter Jamie Muro) has made a name for herself in the market and is an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac. We’re hoping she remains a high-profile presence at the station.

Maybe they are removing her from the early mornings and making her anchor of the 12pm and 6pm half-hour newscasts?
Oh please, has any anchor in the history of local TV news preferred the weekends over the weekday morning shift? I don’t buy the company line the Java column had that Rebecca wanted the weekend job because of her baby. The morning shift is the best for working mothers. The station is clearly going for the youngest women they can, experience be damned. It’s embarassing
