UConn senior journalism student Gabrielle Levesque, who interned at the NBC 30 a few summers ago, was in Russia as part of the Today team covering the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games for NBC. The Courant reports that she was one of eight American students selected from a group of former NBC interns who were based in the main press center.
Levesque worked as a production runner and performed tasks to ensure that all of the broadcasts went smoothly. We personally couldn’t get enough of the Olympic coverage here in Hartford, so thanks for helping make that possible Gabrielle!
