A new year and a new season of CPTV’s flagship magazine show All Things Connecticut! It premieres tonight at 8pm on CPTV with new host David Bibbey, who hails from England. He explores Connecticut with a fresh pair of eyes, bringing viewers a new appreciation for the people and places that make this state so unique.
I’m back, along with my colleague the Emmy-award winning Ed Wierzbicki, the only arts correspondent in Connecticut. In tonight’s episode, I tour Gillette Castle, home of the late eccentric actor William Gillette. I’ll show you some of the castle’s unique features, designed by Mr. Gillette himself to trick his quests: Legend has it he even punk’d Albert Einstein!
Tonight’s episode also features my inspirational Made in CT segment on Tucci Lumber, the Norwalk-based baseball bat company owned by former pro Pete Tucci and his wife Amy.
In his Spotlight on the Arts segment, Ed takes us to Wesleyan University’s Center for the Arts to celebrate its 40th Anniversary.
All of this…along with David’s new segment “Breaking Bread” – first stop the Udupi Bhavan restaurant in Middletown.
