The Hartford Business Journal has news of a study that suggests both the city of Hartford and Fairfield County are high on the list of markets deserving of a major league sports franchise.
The business weekly reports aging facilities and Hartford’s geographic location between Boston and New York are hurting the capital’s chances of luring a big league team, but says the Stamford area may be better suited because of its population, median income, and proximity to the New York.
