Anthony M. Anthony, has been promoted from senior press secretary to director of communications in the office of Governor Ned Lamont(D).
Anthony, who joined the governor’s office in May of last year, sent a low key note to members of the Connecticut news media announcing the change; a portion of which is reprinted here:
“I’m writing to share with you that I’ll be taking on the role of Director of Communications for Governor Lamont. I felt it was important that you heard this directly from me and not a press release as we’ll be working closely together moving forward.”
Anthony is replacing Max Reiss, who is leaving for a position with banker’s hours at M&T.
