One of the things that usually distinguishes public radio stations from commercial stations is the absence of constant weather and traffic updates, but WNPR has decided a little weather from time to time is a good thing.
Former local television weather forecaster Garett Argianas has joined WNPR to provide weather updates during Morning Edition and All Things Considered. News Director Jeff Cohen says it is part of an on-going effort to “better serve” the station’s listeners.
