Some of you may have taken note of the recent showing of colorful Hartford photography produced by Jack McConnell.

McConnell, a successful commercial photographer based in central Connecticut for years, is using his current show to push a plan to light up Hartford. In an article in this week’s Hartford Business Journal, McConnell explained to reporter Greg Seay how the city could be transformed at night with the strategic use of artificial lighting.

Think how Hartford would look if all its major buildings received the same night time treatment as the Capitol.
