Dennis House will be co-anchoring the 6pm news on WTNH. We’re glad to see that Darren Kramer hasn’t been displaced; he will still be anchoring the 5, 5:30 and 11 (and doing newscasts on that other channel no one watches).
We are compelled to cite what we wrote In December, 2020 when WTNH hired House after he was let go by WFSB:
“Expect Dennis to be anchoring before you and I are in the vaccine line.”
Given the state’s swift vaccine distribution our timing was a little off, but…
With the announcement this week that Gray has bought WFSB and Meredith’s other stations, it’s a waiting game to see what happens with the legendary Channel 3. We wish the best to everyone who works there.
