As Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal takes a high profile role in calling for a special prosecutor to look into possible connections between the Trump campaign and Russia, it’s important to point out a quirk in the senator’s long resume.

Blumenthal and others are making comparisons between Trump and former President Richard Nixon.

Buried by time at the end of Blumenthal’s resume is the fact that as a young aspiring politician back in the late 1960’s he worked in the Nixon White House. Blumenthal was an aide to Daniel Patrick Moynihan who served as an urban affairs adviser and counselor to the president for two years from 1969 to 1970. All pre-Watergate.
