Long time ESPN personality Chris Berman, who began his career in local radio here in Connecticut, is expected to retire following this year’s NFL season.
Berman joined ESPN when it opened its doors in Bristol back in 1979 and Australian rules football was a staple of the 24/7 sports programming.
Reports say Berman will retire when his contract expires and he has no plans to join another network.
