As expected, former Fox 61 and ABC meteorologist Dan Amarante is returning to Connecticut after leaving the network. And his return breaks new ground in Connecticut.
Amarante is joining Hearst Connecticut Media as its first staff meteorologist. He will be covering weather and science.
