We have enjoyed seeing all the attention focused on Barbara “Bobbi” Roessner, who, during her long, successful newspaper career in Connecticut, was a leading editor at the Hartford Courant and then Hearst CT. Recently the New York Times featured the non-profit digital news outlet that she and others founded in New Bedford, Massachustts, a town which lost its local newspaper. WNYC’s “On the Media” followed up with a segment in which Bobbie is interviewed.
