Broadcasting and Cable Magazine Shutting Down

There was a time, before the internet, when the way to get a leg up on job openings in the radio and television business, was to subscribe to Broadcasting and Cable magazine and flip through the back pages of help wanted ads from stations across the country.

That way of doing things has long passed and the current owner of the magazine, which traces its roots back to the 1930s, is ceasing publication.
