It wasn’t so long ago that Bruce Stevens and Colin McEnroe were the afternoon guys on WTIC-am 1080. Bruce was with WTIC for many years before being let go in 2006; the good news is that he’s been hired by  WJMJ (88.9 FM) to man the morning show mic. The station is  owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hartford and Bruce’s hiring comes at a time when the station is modernizing its music offerings.  Bruce is a very good guy and we’re happy he’ll be back on the air.

  1. Came across this station. LOVE IT! so refreshing. Had been listening to WRCH 100.5 for years then they changed there programing and did not like it. Sent many e-mails regarding the change. We listen to a wonderful station on Cape Cod that play a lot of the 50’s/ soft music. Mentioned to WRCH this and didn’t reply. However flipping through the radio dial I found YOU! and haven’t changed since all of the programmable dials are set to your station even on the Car. Love your station!!!!
