If you are looking to buy a radio station, and really, who isn’t; now is the time to buy.

That’s the sub-theme in an article this week from the Hartford Business Journal on the future of AM radio.

The report says radio isn’t dead, but many owners who bought at the top of the market are now loaded down with debt and the market now favors owners who can buy low and work off of a business model favoring local advertisers over national accounts.
