Editors and reporters from the Connecticut Health Investigative Team (C-HIT) taught students from Connecticut the ins and outs of Investigative Reporting at Quinnipiac University, July 9-13. Matt Kauffman from the Hartford Courant as well as other local reporters bestowed their knowledge upon the students where they learned tools to become effective investigative reporters; conduct interviews; use public data to do investigative reporting and use social media as reporting tools.
