It is sad to hear the news that our friend Lisa Carberg is leaving NBC CT next week.
She has been with the station for nearly 20 years and has always enjoyed a solid reputation as a strong journalist with roots in Connecticut(Old Saybrook). One cannot help but notice that her departure is coming just a few months after she was taken off the anchor desk and given a job working on “special projects.”
There is chatter on the Internet that she may have already found a position as a fill in anchor at one of NBC CT’s competitors. We will have to wait and see.
Carberg worked briefly for Fox News before returning to NBC CT in 2002.
