Less than two months after he left Fox 61 under mostly unexplained circumstances, former reporter Matt Caron took to social media to explain what happened and what’s next.
What’s next is; he is looking for new opportunities.
What happened, according to Caron, is a dispute with management over contract terms. Caron, who was a union steward at the station, says he refused severance and refused to sign a document waving his right to make future legal claims.
In a post on social media Caron said he was with the station for eight years, had no disciplinary history and “great” performance reviews. As we reported last month, Caron was unceremoniously walked out of the station one evening after a meeting with management went poorly and, according to sources, not as planned.
