Congratulations to Maura Casey, one of five winners of this year’s Yankee Quill Award.
Casey has written editorials for the Day of New London, the New York Times and the Hartford Courant. She has also been involved in a project to encourage women to write more opinion pieces for newspapers as a means to empower women in the public policy arena.
She received the Quill award for her commitment to the First Amendment.
