An interesting new launch this week from CBS News: A live streaming Internet news channel “broadcasting live” 15 hours a day.
It’s a combination of an all news radio station on a one hour rotation that breaks in to carry live events. It’s called CBSN.
TV Newser did an analysis of launch day. The programming seems to have a slow overnight pace, but it’s an interesting re-use of CBS resources including the network’s deep archives.
