JAVA reports that Charley Monagan, longtime editor of CT Magazine, is out….and that owner Journal Register Company will replace him with its Connecticut Group editor, Matt DeRienzo. Charley has been with Connecticut Magazine off and on since 1978.

Shameful. When I read through Hartford Magazine and want to jump out a window, I can always count on Connecticut Magazine to find some real journalism. Mr. Monagan is a class act.
