Former WTNH and News 12 reporter Renee Chmiel is leaving her position in the Office of Marketing and Communications at the University of New Haven for a new job in San Diego.

She will be a supervising public information officer for the City of San Diego. In a social media post announcing the move she said she will continue to help UNH as a freelance writer.
