The Ralph Nader backed Winsted Citizen has moved from plans for a one-time pilot edition in February to plans for monthly publication through the end of 2023.
The paper is hosting a community meeting today(Tuesday) and looking for subscribers on social media.
You can get the Citizen for $25 for the rest of the year, but you can also subscribe at the “friend’s rate” of $50 a year and help support the paper further. Beginning in 2024 a subscription will move to $95 annually – and if all goes as planned it may be a weekly by then.
