Two early career reporters with ties to Connecticut have been selected to be part of the 2024-25 Fellowship class of the New York Times.
Shayla Colon attended Quinnipiac University. She will be assigned to the metro desk.
Isabelle Taft attended Yale University. She will be assigned to the national desk.

In all, twenty-nine young journalists are part of the program which begins in June. They will cover stories along with full time members of the Times’ staff for a year. Many Times fellows end up with full time positions at the paper.
