Chris Cooper has been a fixture in state government communications for years; he started in state service in 1978 for Ella Grasso. He retired as Governor Rell’s Communications Director earlier this year but has launched “Cooper Communications”. His company will be based in his hometown of Coventry and offer comprehensive communications services, including media relations, issue and policy advocacy, crisis management, strategy and message development, media training and executive speechwriting.
