Christine Taylor, vice president of digital publishing for the Hartford Courant, is being sent west to become “managing editor, audience,” for the Chicago Tribune. Both papers are owned by Tronc.
The news was announced in a memo to Chicago Tribune staff by editor-in-chief Bruce Dold. He said the change is part of an effort to make the paper “more nimble, more entrepreneurial, more responsive to our readers’ current interests and permanent passions.”
