An up-lifting story from Connecticut made it to the airwaves of NPR.

It’s the story of Lesia Day’s mother, who in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease got lost on the way to Day’s home in Old Saybrook and ended up in Rhode Island, only to be guided back – all the way to Saybrook – by a helpful Rhode Island gas station attendant.

The story is from a new NPR podcast called My Unsung Hero.

…and in a related note…

We came across this NPR themed Jeopardy question in our hunt for media news today.

Hint: capacious = spacious.

Which leads us to wonder, why has NPR never offered a special edition tote bag called “The Toten-bag?” Or maybe they have and they ran out and all that’s left are the beanies.
