As the legislature struggles to put a state budget together the Office of Legislative Management has put out a request for proposals aimed at reducing the cost and therefore the programming offered by CTN.

The public affairs network, Connecticut’s version of C-SPAN, has often been at the center of funding controversies. If its programming is reduced, or even eliminated, it would without question lead to a reduction in public access to and understanding of their state government.
