It’s sort of a cross between PBS and HGTV.
Friday night, longtime Connecticut and New Hampshire political operative, Yale graduate and marathon runner Fergus Cullen, hosted former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for Bush’s first New Hampshire house party of the 2016 race for the White House.
Cullen did an excellent job introducing Bush and explaining the history of such gatherings as part of the process that defines the New Hampshire presidential primary; still the first the nation.
We don’t know the size of the Cullen home, but it appeared to be bursting with New Hampshire voters, state and national news media. Among those seen in the crowd: Dana Bash of CNN, Mark Halperin of Bloomberg, Jonathan Martin of the New York Times, Carl Cameron of Fox News(who began his career in New Hampshire at WMUR) and Ed O’Keefe of the Washington Post.
Fergus has been a guest on C-SPAN, over the years, whenever it’s time to update the race for the White House from the Granite State.
