Fergus Cullen, the former chair of the New Hampshire Republican Party and a former campaign operative in Connecticut, well known to many Connecticut reporters, appeared on Hardball Monday night with Chris Matthews on MSNBC.
It was Cullen’s job to try to explain why so many GOP voters seem to like Donald Trump no matter what he does or says. As those who know him might have predicted, Cullen is not impressed with Trump as a long term factor in the Republican field. He tried to convince Matthews that it may take some early Trump victories to get the GOP to wake up and stop the madness.
