The Day of New London is selling its historic building in downtown New London. The 115 year old building will be listed this week for $2.65 million. The move has been in the planning stages since before the pandemic began. Holding onto the property doesn’t make sense in the current fiscal environment of the newspaper business.
The paper says it is committed to its mission of reporting the news of the city and region and it is also committed to finding a new headquarters in downtown New London. The new office hasn’t been located yet.
