Depending on the source, a deal merging Sinclair and Tribune Media is either very close to happening, or still being worked out.
The New York Post says it’s almost a done deal. Other industry observers say allowing Sinclair and Tribune to merge would require months of work and regulatory approval.
Tribune Media owns Fox 61 and WCCT in Connecticut.
