We are told the deal to lure former WFSB anchor Gayle King and former NBA superstar Charles Barkley together to co-host a show on CNN is getting close.
Under the proposed plan the two would appear once a week at 9p.m. The exact format of the show is not known, neither is the name, nor why CNN thinks this is a good idea, or what it has to do with the stated mission of the network to return to its core purpose of delivering what we like to call “the news.”
The grand jury continues to meet in secrecy.
