According to the New Haven Register, high-profile Connecticut lawyer Hugh Keefe has been retained by WTNH’s Desiree Fontaine in advance of her July 7th court date. Over the weekend she was accused of shoplifting.
“She is a rare and incredibly talented TV person,” Keefe said. “She has a huge fan base in this area, and I think it’s one of those cases that people ought to withhold judgment and keep in mind that things aren’t always as simple as they seem at first blush.”
