We were thrilled to receive a “Top of the mornin’ to ya!” from Diane Smith early this morning on WTIC. Diane will be taking over for Ray Dunaway through Wednesday.
On the other side of the country….
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is producing its last printed edition of its newspaper today and will be the largest American newspaper to make the switch to an internet-only news source. As the struggling newspaper industry looks to remake itself, the P.I will be closely watched to see if its new economic model will thrive as it will rely heavily on editorials, blogs and several prominent new columnists.
This could be the tipping point for print editions.
