Nearly 30 NBC owned stations across the country(including NBC CT) are joining forces with animal shelters in a one day effort to find new homes for homeless pets.
The goal is to clear 300 animal shelters in one day of massive promotion.
The date chosen for this effort is Saturday August 15th. Between now and then the NBC stations, and New England Cable News, will be talking up the effort in the hope of generating interest.
