After 30 years at the Day of New London, director of photography Sean Elliot is retiring from the paper and taking a new position up the road at Connecticut College.
Elliot’s send-off at the paper was Monday. At Conn College he will be the full time marketing and communications photographer. He will continue to do freelance work.
Elliot’s departure comes just a few weeks after the retirement of photographer John Shishmanian from the rival Norwich Bulletin after 43 years.
